Cory Booker's Filibuster: A Wake-Up Call for True Leadership
Hey folks, Earnest Mann here. Today, I'm talking about something that goes beyond politics – Cory Booker's record-breaking filibuster. Unlike most political speeches, this one wasn't about pandering to partisan lines. Instead, it was a raw, unfiltered broadcast of pain and frustration from American citizens, reflecting pure human decency.
Why Cory Booker's Filibuster Stands Out
Booker's filibuster isn't just notable because it's the longest since Strom Thurmond's 1958 speech defending segregation. What makes it powerful is the genuine plea for real change. Booker spoke with passion and authenticity, something the Democratic Party has failed to deliver for a long time.
I've been disillusioned with the Democrats, especially after their ineffective 2016 election strategy. But Booker's approach gives me hope. It's not about empty promises but about making genuine efforts to improve the lives of average Americans. And unless the party wakes up to this need, they’re going to stay stuck.
Elon Musk Isn't the Savior People Think He Is
Switching gears, I had to address something else. Too many people idolize Elon Musk, believing his companies are green and innovative. But the truth is, electric cars aren’t nearly as eco-friendly as marketing suggests. Musk is a master marketer, not an engineer or environmental savior. His focus is profit and power, not truth or ecological responsibility.
Democrats Must Recommit to Their Core Values
The Democratic Party is at a crossroads. To regain credibility, they need to return to supporting the working class through genuine action. Enough with the lip service and corporate pandering. This means defending key institutions like the Department of Education, the Veterans Administration, and Social Security from destructive policies masquerading as cost-cutting.
Americans Must Unite for True Change
Booker's speech was a clarion call. If Americans don’t come together as a unified force, corporate interests will continue to rule over them. The lesson from history is clear: Real action is needed, not just empty rhetoric or protest signs. Unity and courage are essential to confront the policies that are stripping Americans of their rights and dignity.
Thanks for listening, folks. And remember, real change doesn't come from hoping things will get better. It comes from collective action.

00:00 would the senator yield for a question Chuck Schumer is the only time in my life I can tell you no I just want to tell you a question do you know you have just broken the record do you know how proud this caucus is of you do you know how proud America is of you I want to go a little bit past this and then I'm gonna I'm going to uh deal with uh some of the biological urgencies I'm feeling when our founder said we must mutually pledge pledge to each other Our lives our fortunes and our sacred honor we need that now from all
00:50 Americans This is a moral moment it's not left or right it's right or wrong it's getting good trouble my friend Madame President I yield the [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] floor hello folks welcome I'm Ernest I really like it when I have some good news to talk about and with this I really do believe it's good news and even though it's politics what's good about it is that it's well I really don't feel it's actually political you see many of us have become a knee-jerk
01:50 if we even hear the word politics but just stay with me on this story and you're going to find out it's about a lot more than just politics what I'm going to be talking about is something really unusual these days and I'm saying it's unusual not because what it did but what it represents this is about the record-breaking filibuster of Corey Bookman because it's actually very unusual you see what makes this particular filibuster unusual is not only the quality of its passioned comment but the fact that the content
02:34 contained represented pure and honest human decency now please hold on before you know you accuse me of partisan politics I very much hate partisan politics I am neither a Democrat or a Republican and to paraphrase the words of MLK I don't believe in judging a person by their political affiliation but by the rational substance of their arguments what Booker has done other than delivering the longest filibuster speech since STM Thurman's August 28th 19 Phil uh 58 filibuster when he was arguing the case for
03:20 segregation was simply to broadcast loud and clear the pain and anguish of his constituents with Force some something the Democratic party has not done in a long time I have to say until this point I had you know pretty much given up on the Democratic party especially after having to suffer electorial defeat because an idiotic cackling clown was the best thing the Democratic party could come up with to do battle with Trump that at least has balls which is ironically the reason so many people voted for him but I don't want to talk about the
04:09 past I want to talk about the present and future and it's my sincerest belief that if the Democratic party can pull their proverbial head out of their ass they're going to have to stop talking and do what great immortalized Democratic and Republican lead leaders of the past accomplished I'm talking about Franklin Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower respectively and actually do what Their constituents and the American people expect them to do significantly improve the lives of the average American this of course is not going to
04:54 be an easy task especially when you have a pop population that still considers Elon Musk some kind of poster boy for being green look I'm not putting this out for dramatic effect I'm simply stating an actual fact electric cars currently are not by any truthful measurable ecological criteria and scientific resource usage data even remotely green got that good Elon Musk is not an engineer his only true skill is marketing which has absolutely nothing to do with honesty or truth he's not concerned with truth he's
05:50 concerned with profit and power I don't give a damn what the media lap dogs say about him his actions are that of a marketing snake I could go on about the past Financial thievery of musk but I want to return to Corey Booker which by any remotely honest and objective criteria even though Booker is a politician a comparison of Booker to musk is like comparing Jesus Christ to Satan the filibuster speech by Senator Booker is something that not only do the American people desperately need to hear but it could be one of the greatest
06:36 opportunities for the Democratic party to actually begin to redeem itself to actually make an attempt to get themselves out of the ideological Corner they so stupidly painted themselves into to recommit to its core values of supporting the working class through actual action not just talking nice sounding but empty lip service promises but betraying the American worker by in reality protecting corporate interest I'll just finish things up by saying this and if I sound angry you're damn right I am people are suffering and
07:23 if those who can't handle the truth of what I'm saying because of their child like sensitivities come back and watch it when you've decided to become an adult multiple American institutions tens of thousands of Americans of people in this country are under attack from a fascistic government's policies the Department of Education the Veterans Administration and the Social Security Administration to name a few all to a greater or lesser degree are under attack under the guise of cutting waste and for those who may be
08:11 unaware this is exactly out of the corporate Playbook that's been taking place in Britain for the last 15 years now Britain has unfortunately become an absolute impoverished and crimer ridden ship hole due to those policies but many Americans won't or don't do anything because right now it's not their job it's not their ass on the line potentially losing everything they have and becoming homeless but when that time inevitably does happen to them because they simply didn't or wouldn't
09:00 band together with action and no carrying signs does not constitute action the people of the Boston Tea Party weren't carrying signs to confront the inevitable that ultimately threatened all of their lives they had the courage and intelligence to understand that and acted accordingly this is why corporate interest rules over such people and controls such people and Corporate America knows that and this is the reason why when I see those people on the corporate news networks whining speaking and complaining about how they lost their
09:52 jobs I'll be playing a violin for them the world's absolute smallest violin in which is actually what their self centered asses deserve perhaps the great words of SE Mo summarizes it best the public therefore always loses its fight no matter how Noble and Justified because they are self-centered and fragmented instead of being one solid unified Force now if you're well too and you just happen to have an extra I don't know 50,000 laying around that you're really not doing anything with would you
10:41 send it my way please I would really appreciate that and I promise not to waste it on Vegas hookers or blow if you're like me and you don't have that kind of DP I absolutely understand so maybe you could send me enough for a cup of coffee and if you can't swing that I could settle for you just subscribing hell I've got to get something out of this deal until next Monday or Friday at 9:00 a.m.
11:15 this is earnest and I usually always m
